From new education and community facilities to airport terminal upgrades, industry recognition and strategic partnerships, the first half of the year has been defined by momentum and impact. Here is a look at the highlights so far.
Completion of the IGS Coonawarra Willam Aquatic and Wellness Centre
The Coonawarra Willam Aquatic and Wellness Centre at Ivanhoe Grammar School’s Plenty Campus has officially been completed. This new facility serves both students and the wider school community, offering a high-quality space that promotes physical activity, wellness and collaborative learning.
The centre includes a 25 metre competition pool, a learn to swim pool, four multi-purpose learning hubs, a fully equipped gym and modern amenities. Designed with long-term value and sustainability in mind, the facility supports the school’s commitment to balanced development and inclusive education.

Melbourne Airport Terminal 3 redevelopment underway
Work is progressing on Stage 2 of the Melbourne Airport Terminal 3 redevelopment, with Peddle Thorp leading the design. This stage builds on earlier works to deliver an improved domestic terminal experience for passengers and operators.
The project scope includes a larger arrivals hall, enhanced baggage handling systems, better vertical transport and improved ground-level connectivity between Terminals 3 and 4. The design also introduces upgraded façades, integrated retail, forecourt improvements and a coordinated signage strategy. These enhancements are closely aligned with broader airport planning objectives.
