Construction is steadily progressing at the Wurdi Baierr Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Peddle Thorp Architects is leading the design of this community-centred project, which will provide the Surf Coast region with year round access to high-quality aquatic and fitness facilities.Integrating natural elements and sustainable practices, the design reflects the surrounding coastal landscape to create a civic landmark that supports community wellbeing and local economic growth. Reflecting on the site progress, Project Architect, Alexander Davies, says: "It takes a significant collective effort to reach this stage of construction. While that work isn’t always visible in the finished project, this is the point where it begins to come together."
