Weaving Heritage and Luxury at Le Méridien

‍For the return of the French luxury brand to Melbourne, we sought to encapsulate Le Méridien's chic European aesthetic while embedding it in the city's distinctive mid-century and laneway culture. Guests are taken on a journey through the building's many past lives, with stories expressed through custom furniture, lighting, and hidden moments of discovery. This narrative is woven into diverse spaces, from Dolly, a glamorous underground restaurant blending 1930s glamour with contemporary sophistication , to Intermission Café, a contemporary interpretation of the timeless charm of a 1950s European espresso bar.

Celebrating Local Character at Mantra Epping

‍We believe that no two places are the same, and we design for the character of each location by embedding references to local culture and community. Trader Restaurant, located within the Mantra Hotel Epping, offers a vibrant and contemporary dining experience that reflects the local character of the area. The interiors are inspired by the rich colours and textures of the nearby Epping Market, celebrating the agricultural heritage while creating a warm, engaging space for guests.
