Peddle Thorp Presents Good Design Award Certificate to Ivanhoe Grammar School

Peddle Thorp Architects visited Ivanhoe Grammar School to present the certificate for the 2025 Australian Good Design Award, recognising the Coonawarra Willam Aquatic Centre. The award reinforces the value of a clear brief, disciplined collaboration, and a shared determination to create environments that advance wellbeing and learning.

Our Principal Socrati Seretis noted that “hearing the school’s design students already follow Good Design Australia and felt immediate pride when the award was announced made the recognition particularly meaningful. Their response reflects the broader impact well-executed architecture can have on emerging designers.”

Since opening earlier this year, the centre has been embraced by students, staff, and the wider community, underscoring the longevity and relevance of the design.
